Not sure how good a pet he'd make. They live in burrows communally. I don't think you could recreate the type of habitat he's used to, and they like to live with other moles. You'd need a big cage filled with dirt. The other problem is they aren't going come be seen, they like darkness and are nocturnal.
In the mean time feeding him.. they eat earthworms and grubs.
Keep him for a day, look him over. I wouldn't handle it as they might bite. Then let him go in the evening near where you found him. Or back in the woods somewhere where he isn't going dig up your lawn.

Only if you are a real dedicated pet owner, but I think it should be set free since it only knows how to live outdoors in the wild.

You are joking yeah?
If its ill an your trying to make it well then feed it fresh chopped worms.
They don't interact well with humans an have a foul temper and are very destructive in whatever habitat you try and nurse them in.

You shouldnt do this. Because he is wild. And he may have some viruses or something. So i'd advise you to let him go, unless you want him to die. And possibly he may bite you and get you affected if he has anything.
