I am going to buy an iMac later this year to do things like pod casting, video conferencing, other multimedia tasks and the usual stuff for my business. However, I don't need it yet and money is tight right now.

My current PC is too slow for my needs at the moment so I need to upgrade but I don't need the expensive iMac yet. I also want a laptop/notebook to use.

My questions are, if I buy a laptop, should I get:

A: Mac Book (Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, v 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo, 1GBRAM)

B: Dell Inspiron (Vista Home Premium, 1.6GHz Intel core Duo 1GBRAM)?

C: Is there an advantage to having two Macs or is the flexibility of having a Mac AND a Windows Vista notebook better?

Thanks to you techies out there in advance of your help.

Warren.

Hmm... I'd say sit tight for another two months or so. Mac OS X: Leopard is due out soon, and judging by the previews, I'd say its very good. I know I'm buying it when it comes out. I've looked at vIsta, and it does NOT look good. I've heard horror stories of half the games not working, as well as other applications. Um, its up to you, man, I mean there are curtain advantages of having a Mac and PC, as if one computer cant run it, the other can. Maybe you want to get a new Mac with the Intel proccessor, so you can run XP.
good luck, Warren
