Is The CIW Internet skills certification a worthwhile qualification?

I am thinking of studying for a CIW Internet skills cetification qualification to be a website design manager.I am told this is widely recognised qualification.How recognised is this and will it help me get a job or should I study something else?

I would first get your A+ certification, then you can move on to better certifications particularly CNAA certification (certifies you in networking).
