time travel is possible and in theory it's simple. time isn't stagnant, meaning it moves along a linear path. light however is faster than time, so if we could travel at or faster than the speed of light, which is also possible, we could reach a point where we could see into the past. think ofit this way, the light from far off galaxies take years to reach us, so when we see them we are seeing what they looked like in the past. if we could travel far enough, we could theoretically look back on the earth in the past. i'm not sure if we can look into the future, maybe if the idea of 11 dimensions is true than we can. as far as dreams go, are minds are infinetly more powerful than we care to realize and most occurences of "deja vu" arent related to a chain of events, but free standing events. we all live in the best possible time of human history, enjoy the ride

These are called premonitions, and no they are not related to time-travel, they are extremely rare and cool. It is kind of like scrying, or looking at something going on presently. Premonitions are dreams of the future, and they have happenedd to me before. I had a dream, I was walking some where in a swimsuit, it was like a water park. Now, I couldn't control myself because I was seeing into what I WOULD do. Later, when I went on vacation a couple years later, I went to Schliterbahn, I was walking through the entrance, and it was exactly like my dream! Not an inch off! Time froze for a split second, right when my dream had... turned off (?). But my life just kept on going. This has happened lots of times before, but to much a lesser degree, and sometimes I couldn't even varify if it was really a premonition or not. They are strange things and I wish to study them further If I could get another one to occur.

Gene, this person knows that time travel is not real. Hes asking if it could be something LIKE time travel.
Besides, I agree, but in a different way. Deja Vu happens to me quite often, and I believe it's because you remember the place from your dreams.

Hi. The mind is a powerful but complicated thing. When you dream about future events what actually happens is your mind thinks about POSSIBLE events based on what data it has. If an event that you dreamed about actually happens, you will remember the dream, but if it doesn't you will not. It has nothing to do with time.

You need to work on your English. Dreams are simpy brain activity while we sleep. They are not tied to reality. By the way, time travel is impossible.
