ive looked every where for a carboy, garden centers, internet, not the plastic kind, but an extra large green glass one.

I purchased mine from a bottled water supplier for the cost of the water plus a deposit. The trick is to tell them you are using a bottled water dispenser and prefer the glass jug. They will charge you a deposit but it's usaully just a couple bucks. If you ask them to buy one they usually decline. Good luck. Also, stores that sell home brewing supplies may have access to some as well

When I got one, (30 years ago), it was difficult, these days it may be nearly impossible. I got mine from a chemist who's shop had been in the family for generations. Other than a similar situation, I think you will probably only find one in an (expensive) antique or objets d'art shop. I doubt they make them any more. Good luck.
