SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU HAVE POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME. THIS IS WHAT IS MOST LIKELY CAUSED YOUR LACK OF MENSTRAL FLOW. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR A WOMEN OF YOUR AGE TO HAVE YOUR HORMONE LEVELS CHECKED BECAUSE THE LENGTH OF TIME YOU HAVE NOT HAD ONE I AM SURE YOUR LEVELS ARE ALL SCREWED UP. THE HAIRLOSS I DON'T BELIEVE HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR LACK OF MENSTRAL CYCLE. THERE IS A CONDITION THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE LACK OF PROPER BLOOD FLOW THAT IS MOST LIKELY DUE TO YOUR UNUSUAL HAIRLOSS

You may have gone through premature menopause (I started with perimenopause at 36 and my doc thinks I'll be through the entire process by the time I'm 45).
Ask your doctor to do an FSH test. Its a simple blood test that measures the level of Follicle Stimulating Hormone. Too little, and it means your ovarian function has stopped (a score under 25). You can also do this at home by using the MenoCheck Menopause test. It uses urine rather than blood, and will give you roughly the same result as its testing for the same hormone.

If you took BCPs it may or may not stimulate your cycle again, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you'd ovulate; it would only make your body build and purge the uterine lining artificially.

I'm within the equal boat. My interval has continually been enormously abnormal, identical to the way you defined. I went to my health care provider and he or she stated so long as you get three durations a 12 months that is nice. I do not accept as true with her although, that simply does not appear proper? Anyway, she advised me to take beginning manipulate and I did and that regulated the whole lot.

Hmm... there can be several causes for ammenhorrea, but I am not really familiar with them. The only things that come to mind are anorexia and very early menopause. Maybe you should ask your mom and sisters if they have a problem with this... it can also be a genetic thing.

If you aren't eating right or over exercising it could be causing the cessation. Try another doctor
