Are there any good legitimate poetry contests ou there???

I would like to enter a few poems and don't know where?!

well i would definitely get yourself a copy of Poets & Writers, every issue lists numerous legitimate no fee poetry contests on a variety of styles and techniques. some of the contests are regional, gender specific, or otherwise noted. if you are trying to get an award for full manuscript 45-75 pages of poems, then try the big presses such as greywolf, copper canyon, punto del sol, etc and see if they are accepting unsolicited manuscripts to be entered into numerous prestigious national contests. legitimate contests of the serious nature never ask for any fee or payment, unless a large corporate book publisher may require a reading fee.
