You call the local child protections services for her area. They will want address and phone number from you as well as hers.

When you posted your similar message one day ago you were given some good advice by the people who answered. Its up to you now please pick up the phone and contact the Domestic Violence Unit of the Police authority near your girlfriends home.

You obviously desperately want to help her, ask your own parents for help surely they must have an opinion on this too.

Please do it as soon as you can if the violence is definately happening she needs help now. Her parents are not protecting her someone needs to help her and if it is her brother and her mother that are "beating" her then it has to be stopped..

Beatings are a crime and sin. First you notify the police of all you know and volunteer to sign a statement to that effect. You
next notify the church of your girlfriend's family, repeat what you've done with the police, and request the clergy talk to the
family with respect to secularism. If you could afford it I'd suggest a private investigator aquire evidence to produce
police charges.

Either of you could try one of these:
Childline tel 0800 1111 or www.childline.org.uk if she's under 18
Samaritans - www.samaritans.org - 08457 909090
www.womansaid.org.uk

All offer confidential listening service and advice.

But she should seriously consider phoning the police - I know it's the hardest thing to do and it may mean the family changing it's shape forever, but NO-ONE deserves to be beaten up like this and the perpetrators DON'T have a right to be protected, even if they are in the family.

I don't know any numbers but please talk to your girlfriend- and persuade her to report it to the police. Your girlfriend's mum is taking advantage of her authority and abusing her own daughter!
Support your girlfriend whatever decision she chooses and always offer her a shoulder to cry on and a place to run to when is most vulnerable. My heart really does go out to both of you.

Try calling a church in her area. Unless they are hypocrites, they will not care whether she is a member or not. Also try contacting her school's guidance counselor. When they see that you are sincere, and concerned for her welfare, they also can help you find someone in her area.
