OK, we all know Iraq has no ties to Al Queda, and Liberals have been VERY vocal about their ideas that the war in Iraq is about oil, etc etc.

But anyway, the House has officially voted to give a timetabe for withdrawal from Iraq. The fact is, the people we are fighting in Iraq want to kill Americans. Period, the end. Don't defend them, I don't care if it's "our fault by invading", it is the truth.

Now, if we withdraw, hopefully we will leave Iraq with a competent military force of their own. But no matter what, this will leave a WHOLE lot of people, who were fighting troops, with a lot of time on their hands to plan a possible attack on America.

So I have a question for everyone, especially Democrats. Do the Democrats have a plan for preventing further attacks in America? Or do they think that withdrawal will magically stop thousands of years of Muslim extremism?

Are you guys really dumb enough to think that this will appease the terrorists, or do you have a plan to keep us safe??

P.S. I am not saying the troop withdrawal is a bad thing, I am just wondering what you guys will do instead.

I believe that several Democrats have said that troops will remain in the region for a time to follow the withdrawal. Mostly special forces units that could be used to go after Al-Qaida on our terms. The Iraqi's will also need air support since, to my knowledge, we haven't trained any air forces for them. Withdrawal from Iraq doesn't mean withdrawal from the conflict with Al-Qaida.

Yes, the people attacking Americans in Iraq want to kill Americans.

But the vast majority are only attacking Americans because Americans are there as an occupying military force. Once the troops pull out, we're back to a few fanatics and terrorists.

And there are fanatics and terrorists all over the world who want to attack Americans. So, pulling out the troops from Iraq actually lets us concentrate on the real problem folk.

With so many troops allocated to babysitting the civil war in Iraq, we are unable to respond to any other threat. By keeping our troops safe and rested and ready, we can send them after specfic terrorist camps -- anywhere, not just Iraq.

I believe they are more concerned with us leaving then with wanting to attack us. I think they care more about freedom and getting rid of us- the invaders- than attacking our country.

I think congress' next step is to go over the suggestions for airport, water ports, and similair places security. some of these target zones have had none of the reccomends put into play- others have only had a few.
these precausions will keep us safe

we should also go and find actualy terrorists instead of making new ones.
