I used to read a lot when I was kid, I was very smart and had college level ability by 4th grade. I suppose I got bored and I pretty much stopped by middle school, and now i'm a first year college student and now I'm thinking maybe it wouldnt be too bad to get back into reading. What are the benefits of reading?

when i was a kid i used to read ALL the time...and now i'm the best speller out of everyone i know...spelling any word just comes naturally for me. so i guess that's because i read a lot of books when i was younger...it's also good for knowledge.. and it's enjoyable too. =)

You learn lots of vocabulary and improve your spelling by reading.
