After 51 years of trying (with 3 university degrees in my resume) the answer is that I have not even come close.

I certainly did. It took a long time but I finally realized that being self-employed is my dream job. If I had known it would be this easy, I could have avoided a lot of jobs that I "thought" were high paying, as well as the hassles that go with them.
This is the most rewarding career both financially and by helping others that I could have ever dreamed of.
Life is good!

I HAD my dream job as far as responsibilites, perks, a little power, office with a view, etc. But it was a non-prifit org, so the pay was the only factor that prevented it from being my dream job. I'm now working for a company with not nearly as many perks, sitting in a cubicle, but I make twice as much as I did. Its tough to find that perfect balance.

Kind of- I married a hard working woman and I look after the kid and house. And go to college and have just been accepted for a university course on accounting. So that's kind of my dream job.

I have not. Well, I'm a first year college student so I'm not too worried. My dream job will be working for Goldman sachs, working for a large law firm, or opening my own company. Of course there are also my other ambitions such as being a senator

Not originally... but the dreams you have in high school aren't always what you really want.

The career I fell into turned out to be wonderful and fullfiling. So... yes.. I got my dream job.... one that allowed me to have an interesting career, a family, a home and travel.

Who could ask for more??
