I have an idea for a book and I want to know if it sounds good.
The main character is a woman lawyer for a preternatural lawfirm. Her husband (a vampire) is murdered. In her search to find the killer, she finds herself torn between staying faithful to the memory of her husband and the attentions of Eros (Greek god of lust) and a 'Thrope. She hates 'Thropes (werewolf, werecat, weredog, werearmadillo) by the way.
In her searching, she must still remain a mother to her daughter and a high profile lawyer. Her dead husband held a position in the vampire court, and she's stuck learning "fanged politics" (which could have been what killed him).
Sound like a good story? Starting tomorrow, I'm posting updates in my 360.

Spring Flower, my home computer got sick and killed my first draft (when will I learn to make back ups?). I'm stuck rewriting everything, so I can't publish for maybe a year.

John B, it's actually going to be a series of books. I want it to fit into Supernatural Crime (romance takes a backseat for most of it). Some of the ideas are explored in other books to not lump them all together. Example, the vampire politics is explored in one book and merely mentioned in others, as is the 'Thrope community.

Treehugger (I love that name!), after some research, I found an odd Romanian superstition that stated that you can be born a vampire. It's like a disease. They can have children, it's just harder then normal.
