I usually have horrible periods. They're heavy painful and last for ages. But i just got it this morning and its not painful at all and theres hardly any blood and its really brown like how it usually is at the end of your period. what could this mean? I was really ill about 2 weeks ago and lost alot of weight could this have something to do with it? thanks alot for reading!

I have experienced this the past couple of months. What I have is brown, tacky, thick discharge that last about 2-3 days and then I will have a normal blood flow. I believe it is just "old blood" that my body is getting rid of.

Call your phycian if you are really concerned.

If you had a currant illness that effected the lower extremities it may cause change in your cycle, remember this if it occurs again but see your gynaecologist as soon as you can, not much to be concerned about just be aware of the symptoms you experienced and make notes.

Yes, being sick AND losing weight has a lot to do with it. Aging is always a factor as well.

yea, being sick and loosing a lot of weight could have something to do with. Your body changed when you were sick and with that change came a change in your cycle. if it really starts to bother you, ask a doctor.
