No he is lying...Lefties tend to use the opposite side of their brains...But their hearts are on the same side as a right handed person. There is a condition where the heart is on the other side...It can happen with other major body organs. Its called situs transversus.

The heart is in the middle. Jeez!!!!! Take some Anatomy!
Only the heartbeat is heard easier on one side because of where the descending aorta is positioned. It's positioned in the same place on both righties and lefties.

Absolutely not. Though I am lfty and we do use the right side of our brain more than a right handed person. The reason for this is that the brain controls the opposite side of your body

What do you think? All humans have their hearts on their left side of their body unless lefties are not humans!

its not true. And actually, our hearts are not in the left side, the heart is in the middle but slightly to your left.
In the human body, the heart is normally situated to the left of the middle of the thorax, underneath the breastbone (see diagrams). The heart is usually felt to be on the left side because the left heart (left ventricle) is stronger (it pumps to all body parts)

It is not true. Your friend is mistaken.
What he might have heard is that left handed people tend to favor the opposite side of their brain.

Nope - that's BS, BUT, lefties are only a tenth as likely to lose their ability to speak if they ever have a stroke! And that IS true.

That is not true. As far as we know, handedness is determined within the brain. It has nothing to do with the heart, which is almost always slightly to the left.
