Ditto head is someone who does not nesesarily agree with Rush Limbaugh, but enjoys his show.

Callers were encouraged to say ditto instead of going on about how they enjoyed the show before they got to the point of their call.

Actually it has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing with the substance of Limbaugh's "message."

I listened to Limbaugh about 10 years ago when a group of us were doing paralegal work while waiting to hear from our respective Bars that we'd passed the exam and could practice in earnest. Ironically I think I was still registered as a Democrat then.

The explanation Limbaugh gave then was that he has a set amount of time in which to take calls and to take calls faster he would eliminate the "first time long time, love the show" crap and if you wanted to say that you'd just say "ditto" and move on to the substance. Cramer similarly tries to get callers to quickly identify the stock they want to talk about.

It's a call-in show thing, not a political thing.

It isn't flattering. It refers to someone who listens to Rush Limbaugh and doesn't do their own thinking but just "dittos" everything he says.

You can always spot a dittohead if you try to engage them in a discussion, because they simply recite points by rote and can't back them up or analyze them or dispute other points.

It is a derogatory term created by the leftists to denigrate Rush Limbaugh listeners. They were upset that they no longer could control the flow of political information. Instead of engaging in debate about the subjects they created the silly little name.

The name was adopted by listeners of the show and is now a term of endearment among Limbaugh's fans.

Someone who believes word for word what some college dropout like Rush Limbaugh says without checking the facts himself. Dittohead = parrot.

Its a term for someone who drinks Rush's Oxycontin filled Kool-Aid.

So funny, the fat idiot Rush uses the term to describe his own listeners.

It's not. It's someone that just follow what another person is saying our doing without any new input or actions.
