Yea sure, let them win as many games as they want utilizing Dirk, Terry and Howard as much as possible and then get tired during the playoffs and choke extroardinarily (like they always do) in the playoffs

They can, but they won't. They're good enough to win all of the games, including the Suns and Spurs games. But, they will not risk injury and fatique just to win a few regular season games. They will save it for the playoffs. They will probably play their hearts out against the Suns because the loss last time and because they'll expect to play them again in the Western Conf Championship and they need the mental edge of knowing they can beat them. But, I expect them to lose to the Spurs and maybe some other games because they don't need to win those. They'll still have home court advantage throughout the playoffs since the Suns will also tone it down at the end of the regular season.

i agree with Prashant that a winning streak in the regular season matters not, but a 12 game winning streak in the playoffs is good enough for an NBA Championship. I don't think they will choke in the playoffs again, because they tasted defeat last year and didn't like it too much.

Seeing as how they have an upcoming schedule including Phoenix and San Antonio, it's questionable, especially toward the end of the season when they will be resting their better players. But, it wouldn't surprise me if they did have another long win streak.

Every team is playing a lot harder now, closer to the playoffs, so I doubt it. But anything is certainly possible.
