does anyone remember what they spoke about in high school. honestly? I'm salutatarian of my class, working on my speech...are people even going to listen to what I have to say? Or will my words be forgotten after graduation? Honestly?

Fredde...
thats my whole idea
to make the speech so uncomforming...talking about things most people wouldn't even think of speaking during graduation. thank you.

my friend alex was right.
he laughed wondering why I lived my whole life to give a speech to ignorant people who wont even remember what I had to say...but I told him...it never hurts to try...
humanity is gone....adults are just as stupid as teenagers and...i've lost hope already. These close minded ignorant people get the worst of me. I hate it. Why can't we all wake up and stop acting so ignorant! Obviously, people who think I'm bragging must be wondering what they didn't get right in their life...because I already have my foot in the door...so I'm sorry that you few people that left ignorant comments are SO PATHETIC. GROW UP!

my close friend (class of 2005) was valedictorian and I don't remember a word she said because it was so "normal".. it was your typical valedictorian/graduation speech...
but the valedictorian for my year (2006) was definately memorable!!!! she spoke the words of a true student... she compared life to an anime show (certain aspects of life) and she went as far as stating "what did high school teach us?? nothing!!! everything is learned through our experiences.. we'll go out into the world scared, but we'll be strong [yada yada yada]" she really attacked the staff... it was beautiful!!!! and she also said "who will really remember the greatest plays in a game?? only that player. so why does it matter?? it doesnt. high school will be a distant memory... [yada yada]" it was a brilliant unconformist speech!

I think you have you answer now liya. Give a Presidents speech one that can not be forgotten. However, some of the students will end up heavy drug addicts and eventually forgetting who the even are, anyways that is besides the point, i know a lot of the answers seem bitter. obviously high school didn't treat them very well, actually high school really doesn't treat anyone well. anyways as far as your speech goes, You must make it impossible. If you throw in the word ¤f-u/c¤k a few times, i guarantee you no one is going to forget it. You could also set yourself on fire, or strip. I wouldn't actually suggest the two but these are teenagers, you can punch the dean/principal in the face. I think the only way you can make this memorable is by doing something that is going to land you in jail. and this is terrible advice

I was salutatarian myself, and I hardly even remember what I said. I remember a little bit from our Valedictorians, and from a few of our other people giving speaches, but I hardly remember anything. Really, I think the best speach would be something short and funny. I was so nervous my speach sucked, and looking back on it now, I could have done a lot better. Good luck to you!

Forgotten unless you do something really awesome or say something really funny. I mooned everybody at my graduation, they won't forget that. I like your details you added to your question, perhaps you should call everybody in your graduating class an idiot and tell them how much better you are than them. I know I would.

Yeah, nobody cares what some nerds have to say. Nobody even really listens to them. They all say the same thing about how "we are the leaders if tomorrow" and all of that BS.
