For suicide, a good artist would be Nine Inch Nails. Can't think of specific songs right now (listening to Spoonman, too happy) *l*, but you can find lyrics on any website. Look for artists that have the serious angst going on.

I would do "Everybody Hurts" by REM for Suicide. It talks about how everyone has problems, but you can get through, you just have to Hold On.
