lol she was replaced; i'm watching it right now, and i never watched fresh prince. Also granted i'm half black myself i find your remarks a bit odd. Two different women do play harriet, in the last episodes there is another woman playing harriet. And i'm curious as to why...

*ahem* and for those curious,
Miss Payton left "Family Matters" in the middle of the ninth season to pursue other artistic endeavors. Her first performance on stage was at the tender age of six years old. She is also an accomplished singer and received her first major professional acting roles, through musical auditions. She was made for the stage live or otherwise, it shows.

you are right. the original was replaced. i think after a while the first harriet was just frustrated in the direction the show was going. also her pay was another issue. but in the end they just replaced her, with some other lady who did a horrible job.

The original Harriet was never replaced. I think you may be thinking of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. And why did you get these two shows mixed up? Do you think all of us black people look alike???

I don't think that Harriet was ever replaced, but I KNOW there was another sister named Judy that went upstairs in the first season and never came back down. I SWEAR!!
