who is always picking on people!!!! It drives me insane. I quite going around her because of it. I hate when people get picked on because I get picked on all the time. But anyways she started coming around me today!!! And she shoved my best friend into the locker and made her sprang her wrist!!! I told her to back off and get the hell away from both me and my best friend. Now she seems made at me. I don't know if I should say I am sorry or tell her I don't care if I hurt her feelings. I don't know how to tell her I don't wanna be her friend anymore because I can not be friends with someone who picks on others. What is the best way to go about this??? What would you do?? Should I not hang around her because of this. Am I right in my feelings toward it?? What should I do?? Thanks

You did the right thing. And yes, you should stay away from her unless she changes her ways. That is how people learn. And if she doesn't learn from this, you simply can't condone her behavior by continuing to hang with her.

Have a long talk with her. Explain that she is a bully and it needs to stop. She will end up with no friends. Tell her to put herself in the other situation of the person receiving the insults. Ask her "You can dish it out but could you take it if they did it to you?"

Just tell her to grow up and that it would be sad if you had to end your friendship, because she was acting childish. It will force her to either grow up or stay away.
