Where did you make your purchase? What do you like or dislike about Laptop or Computer?

I have a desktop in my office and a laptop that I use for travel purposes. I got both of them from Dell. I would definatly choose my laptop over my desktop because you can take it wherever you need to go.

Look I will tell you the truth. I purchased my desktop comp. from dell.com which is awesome cause you can pick and choose what you want. Now what I will recommend is for you to look at what you will be using it for more. School, Internet, Photos, can all be done on a laptop with wi-fi ( which can nowadays be found anywhere, EVEN HOOTERS) rather than you having to be stuck on the desktop this makes you more mobile and can even have the same amount of memory storage as a desktop. Long Story Short "The Laptop"

We have both. We built the desktop ourselves, and the laptop was purchased at Staples.
Both great computers

I have both.
desktop at work - through a geek
laptop at home - at Frye's in Portland
love my laptop, desktop is ok
portability... that's the thing, and I have all the nice little accessories that allow me the thrill of a desktop (mouse, keyboard, etc.)

I actually own both. I bought my laptop at compusa, and my desktop at Best Buy. I like the laptop's portability, but for me I like the desktop as far as being user friendly.

my family has 2 desktops, 2 laptops. i just boght 1 of the laptop it is being shiped right now. i am on the other laptop right now. it is an acer and I love it. i hate the desktops.

I have a desktop that was "built" for me.The only thing I don't like is that I'm tied down to one spot with it.But I have a whole room for all my pc stuff so it's not so bad I guess.

the top of my lap is under the top of my desk
actually
I have both, Gateways and they are fine
But I have a dell desktop at home that I would highly recommend
