I'd venture to say worse than women since guys are harder to commit in the first place.
Women communicate and function on an emotional level, so loving and losing are frequent occurances. Men, on the other hand, are harder to bring to an emotional level. So, when we finally make that leap, it's a much bigger fall when it happens. Just bear in mind that many guys aren't as "committed" to a relationship as you think they are, so there is no fall when there is no commitment. Based on your question, I'd be willing to bet that's what you experienced.

Of course guys do, guys emote just like girls. All a guy needs to cause heasrtache is to see his hoochie du jour bobbin' for apples in other guys fly parked on dark lover's lanes to get their heart broke.

All the time, big difference is that guys can fill time easier than girls doing or watching sports and other activities, and that will take our minds of a heartbreak for a while.

Hi Ella, if you are planning on breaking one, go easy we hurt too and we are not "supposed" to show it so it is even harder sometimes.

they also hv emotion bt they hv power to cntrol it. usually the don t show it bt if they really love sm1 (which they usually dont seriosly ) then they surely do
