Till today my system had Windows 2000 Professional. And I was the administrator and had access to all the drives of the disk. But I had not given access to E drive to another user Monica.

Today I installed a fresh copy of Windows XP but didn't upgrade from Windows 2000 Pro and registred myself as Sat as Computer Administrator, and another user Monica with limited access. While loading Win XP, I formatted only C drive where my current OS (Win XP) is loaded and there itsef earlier OS (Win 2k) was loaded. NOW
1) we both can not access that E drive at all. Even when I login as Sat (Computer Administrator) and try to access the E drive, I get a message as 'drive not accessible'.

2) Moreover, when I try to add another user with username 'administrator', I get a mesage as 'username administrator already exists', infact there is no user with that username.

Please help me access E drive.

You cannot be named administrator because windows automatically sets up this account even if you can't see it.
To see partitions on your drive go to Start>control panel>Performance and maintenance>Administrative tools> Computer management> Disk managment
This will show you all the drives and partitions in your machine. You may find you have lost your drive or it has been re-labled.
