Option A-dinner and a movie, and then home in bed early
Option B-dinner and a movie, let the grandparents go home and have drinks on the deck.
Option C-let the Grandparents watch the kids and we go to a hotel! The negative is the $ spent for a hotel.

those ideas are great but try this . send the kids to the grandparents for the night. cook dinner or order pickup dinner. light candles around the livingroom, play soft music low. spread a blanket on the floor or over the coffee table spread out dinner have wine, then when you are done fill the bathtub with a hot bubble bath light candles and bathe by candle light sipping on wine enjoy the romance and each other.. use your imagination..

If you skip dinner and the movie and take a chilled bottle of bubbly and some exotic nibbles (for example, strawberries and whipped cream) straight to the hotel, then you can kind of balance out the costs a bit!
Look, how many times do you celebrate your anniversary every year? This is SPECIAL. Go for it! (And don't forget to bring some sexy lingerie, massage oil and atmospheric candles.)
