Connecting Computer to Printer using Male to Male USB?

Question

I know the cable works fine, that was my first worry. The cable has adapter ends to it, meaning you can switch either end in place of a proper connector for the certain application you are using. My question is, is the fact that I'm using 2 male USB adpters on the same wire cause the printer not to "see" the computer?

if you are using a usb cable to connect a printer. it is ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi. Good question! The USB standard MUST have taken the possibility into account. Most male to male cables I have seen have one end connector larger than the other. Try another device.
