not just congress but other political positions , shouldn't we make sure these people have a clear mind before making decisions that effect our way of life?

also would you say people taking prescribed anti depressents have a clear mind to make decions for our country or not ?

yes, lets randomly start with Ted Kennedy.

also, anti-depressants are a broad group. There is quite a difference in having a chemically caused depression, as to having mental disorders. To accuse someone of not having a clear mind, because they are taking anti-depressants would be ignorant.

the case on point is Chandler v. Miller (united states supreme court 1997)

the Supreme court says it is considered a search and seizure under the 4th amendment and therefore cannot be done without a warrant.

As for what I think, I think we should do it! :-) Tell me Bush doesn't do a line every now and then, come on!

People who are taking anti-depressants have a much clearer mind than if they weren't taking them.
