The Dominion from Star Trek, Who are they what are they? are they still a force to be reckoned with after Voyager went off the air? Are theJem'Hadar still controlled? I feel that there is not a lot of info regarding this species.

The Dominion is the term for the entire force of Jem'Hadar and Founders who were fighting against the Federation in Deep Space Nine. They were never featured in Voyager, but they were mentioned a number of times. In the episode, "Message in a Bottle", it is revealed that the Dominion has signed a treaty with the Federation, and thus, the war is over.

As for what they are; there are two races; the Founders and the Jem'Hadar. The Founders are a group of changelings bent on conquering certain parts of the Milky Way galaxy. The Jem'Hadar are strong but mindless clones used as soldiers by the Founders.

Hope that helps.

i don't know who/what they are, shapeshifters are my best guess, but they weren't part of the voyager tv series, although i do believe they were mentioned in several of the VOY books. enterprise, aired after voyager, was actually before VOY on the star trek timeline, and i'm not sure when the dominion entered the line. either way the dominion was not part of voyager.

They were shape shifters right? The Dominion waged war on the Federation in the late 24th century, acting as an antagonist in Deep Space Nine. They stopped fighting us (federation) and went after the Cardassians because they switched sides and were helping us fight them.

Write to the show producers and ask your question. Hopefully if enough people start asking questions and pressure. They'll put a new version on TV. Something much better than Enterprise was, hopefully!

Good luck!
