earth bending..nothing better..u have all the materials around u..plus if u get good enuff u can bend metal like toph and it doesn't get weaker as the environment changes like the fire and water benders.earth bending is the best any day..

It's very obvious that air bending is the most flexible and the one that can be used in almost everywhere.
Aang use air to do various things, air bending is the sort of the swiss knife version of element bending.
Also air is everywhere you can breath, and you need to breath. You can bend air anywhere you can breath.
Water is more powerful than all of them though, but its use is quite limited, unless you can siphon out the water vapor from air and ground.
Earth have more range, but its use is limited just like water.
Fire unlike the other element, it can grow, it basically the most living of the entire elements. Its use isn't as limited as water and earth, but it need air to grow and it isn't as flexible to use.

Earth bender cuz if anything attacked you, you could cast huge stones at it and kill it. Also good for hunting... and building a home to live in! If Superman had an Earth bending power, he could have saved Lois without having to make the world turn backwards.
