latley the pop/hiphop music that i've been hearing on the radio is getting more and more silly..I cant help but laugh out loud when that music comes out its so retarded...
at my job there is this girl who puts it on a hiphop station and she sits there grooving... but when i'm in the room I cant help but feel absoulutley rediculous... this music caters to folks with no brain cells.. it utter nonsence..
some times I feel rediculous when they turn the radio on like they cant see how obsered the garbage spewing from the radio is....

why are women so gulable to the media and all the garbage coming out of it.... women are rediculous... they make me embaresed to be in the same room with them.... I cant stand hiphop people....

lol..I totally agree, but to each their own. I have a friend who's teenage daughter listens to this stuff and I just shake my head laughing. You're right. Now I DO like some old school hip-hop or like a hip-hop/R&B mix. However, most of the NEW hip-hop is utterly ridiculous. Are our lives so pathetic that we have to listen to rich and beautiful people sing ABOUT how rich and beautiful they are? For example: "Grillz" by Nelly..do we really need to hear a song about your trip to the dentist and how much money you have to spend on such a thing? Or how bout "Fergilicious"? Ok..do we need to a hear a song about how conceited you are, or how "hot" you think you are? C'mon people! What ever happened to listening to the music for the way it SPOKE to you, or the depth of the LYRICS?
Today, kids just like hip-hop for the beat it seems. It could be spewing epithets and hate language and you'd STILL find someone jamming out to it, totally clueless as to what the song is really saying.

What is retarded is the comment you just made. If you don't like the music than don't listen, but to simply label hip hop retarded is retarded. No one with an IQ above 40 would say that. Is hip hop what it use to be back in the day, No its not, some of it doesn't have the meaning and politics that it use ti have. But thank goodness for artist such as Nas. I have a 16 yr old daughter, who is 50/50 asian/white and she listens to that crap. Yet, on the other hand she makes fun of how they look and act. It's got to be the media playing it up so the kids listen to it? Because most kids have nothing in common with the music, the artist nor the culture. We have bunch of brainwashed retarded children!

That was a bit harsh. I think that music is indeed getting rather foolish, but not every pop/hip-hop artist is that bad. There are people who make good music, and do a great service to their genre. Not many, but a few.
