I love chemistry, biology, and math, so this sounded good.

they can do many different things.... but basically they are people with different types of jobs or functions such as monitoring processes in chemical companies for reactions to makes sure they are effiecent and environmentally friendly (all using chemistry, biology and math), they can be testing water to make sure it is suitable for humans and animals that come from plants or factories (using chemistry, biology and math). In my opinion they wear the hat of semi chemists and semi engineers in that they know the chemical processes going on in whatever they are monitoring, and they are using their engineering training (chemistry, math, physics) to help keep it running smoothly and efficiently etc... hope this helps...
