They have alll 5 of their starters from last year, but people continue to doubt them and hate on them.

First if you are going to comment, atleast know what you are talking about. Duke was the last team to repeat and the Gators are not a one man team, the have Noah and Horford inside with Green, and Humphry shooting 3s and Brewer who can score from anywhere they are as well rounded as any team in the country. Next if they suck so bad they how did they win the reg. season SEC championship, the SEC tourney, Get the #1 overall seed, and get to the sweet 16??? I don't really think the Gators are underrated, I think alot of people are bitter due to the success of Gator athletics. And to Talene who said we lost to 2 unranked teams, Vandy is still in the tournament and LSU is a great team.

Well there is no reason. If your not a gator fan most people just hate florida but to me they have my respect. Winning in all last year in basketball and could win it again and their football team won it this year in football. I believe florida is not repected enought. Where did poweraide come from? Gatoraide!! Well I hope i answered at least some of your answer

hey meanmach.....duke was the last team to do it then, but ucla won 7 in a row buddy...check your history.
almost every expert picked florida to repeat and they are still picking them now, so im not sure i understand this question. are you talking about people on yahoo answers or in your hometown? because the experts are riding florida like a roller coaster.
the reason some people doubt them is simply because it is so hard to win one title much less two in a row, no matter how many people you return or how good you are. the gators are beatable and it is bound to happen. they arent a bad pick though!

I'm sure people will put excuses or "but..." if we win again. It'd be even nicer if it was against OSU *big grin* They're the biggest cry-babies (they still think they were the better team at the NC in Jan)

I don't know man! People just don't seem to understand how great they are. I mean, all their starters are back, and they kicked *** last year! ESPN shouldn't even be talking about any other team. They'll show 'em. Go Gators!

I have three main resons: #1 Noah is a total a** hole and a prick and look like a q**** #2 Florida almost lost to Purdue in round 2 of the Dance #3 There has not been a repeat chamipon since 1976 UCLA under Wooden.

Because they lose to Tennessee, Vandy, Kansas, FSU, and LSU the only competion in those Kansas plus they play in the weakest confrence out of the major confrences (ACC, SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, and the PAC-10). o steelz it was Duke was the only one to repeat in 91-92

Dont get the respect they deserve?? WTF? Where have you been? They have been doing nothing BUT talk about how wonderful Florida is all year long. IMO, they are overrated. I dont care if they have the same 5 starters. Its a new season, new tournament, and new opponents.

Because they lost badly to two non ranked teams, Vanderbilt (not ranked at the time), and LSU who was missing Big Baby
