As much as I try to bring this part of the road into reality, when I drive down this particular road there is a strange gap in time when the journey vanishes in some sort of time laps of existence. Have you ever experienced this? It's always the same stretch of road and it always vanishes.

There is a place near where I live where this always happens to my son. Only in a particular direction though. He has frequently tried to describe it to me. I half caught a glimpse of it couple of times (when the traffic lights were red) but mostly I'm concentrating on the cars as opposed to the road - it is at a road junction, travelling from the west. What I saw reminded me of the filming technique in "Fellowship of the Ring" when Frodo looks down the road in the Shire and it seems to be rushing towards him and moving away from him at the same time (just before the Black Rider comes).
