I have been for 2 Interviews for my Dream Job and I was Invited in to do a few hours work to see if I enjoyed it and to have a chat with the Manager.

I was told I would have a answer by Today as they had other people to see, I have just had a phone call to say that the lady who will make the Final Judegement is in a meeting and so it has been Prolonged to Monday.

I dont know if this is a good thing or I f I am just being kept on a string, like a donkey with a carrot! Hehe

I really want this job, its such a good oppurtunity and the manager is lovely and so are the other girls in the office.

I dunno what to do, cant bear the thought of having to wait all weekend!!

Why do you think this is happening??

I agree with Mack, she is most probably having a meeting.

Just take it easy, relax and wait until Monday. Give them time to get going Monday morning, so don't start ringing them at 9.01am as it will only annoy them!

They have gone to all the trouble of 2 interviews and bringing you in for a trial so you WILL hear at some point when they are ready.

If it gets to late Monday afternoon, you can call them and ask if there is any further information or answers that would help them to make a decision.

You don't say what your dream job is but I think it is highly likely that they are telling the truth and the VIP lady is in a meeting. These things come up and sometimes they are more important anything else. It is also likely if you have had 2 interviews and asked to work there that it is a positive for you getting the job. In my experience we only invite people for work trials if we want to take them on - it is easier to let them see if they like the job before you fill in all the paperwork. Good Luck - let us know what happened!

She was most likely in a meeting is the honest answer. I hope you get the job

don't worry about it, i know its frustrating having to wait all weekend especially if you cant take your mind off it! I think they genuinely couldn't make time to discuss it due to meetings. It is an important decision!

good luck!
