Izzie and George?! Alex and Jane Doe- or shall I say Ava Doe?Tell me what you think of all these plots and in which direction will show take Meredith.....back burner it seems lately!

great answers so far...I agree about Mer being the name sake of the show....she's lame and it seems Mc Dreamy is almost heading that way too. I love Alex , Mark and Bailey and would like some more burke and christina depth instead of one episode drama and by the end their ok again.... i think Bailey will get chief cuz shes the one who just does the work and isnt caught up in the race....what do you think?

I am not sure why McDreamy is so worried about Meredith. It seems like they are trying to build a story for her to break down or something.
Izzie and George. They really should not have gone there. Now we have to deal with weeks and weeks of them not telling and then Callie finding out anyway. Maybe Izzie will get pregnant again?
Alex and Jane? That will build and build, he will really fall for her and the baby and then her family will find her. Poor Alex.

First off, Izzie was driving me nuts when she was trying to get George to remember what happened. Then when he did remember and she wanted to tell Cali, it was terrible. I mean, just let it go - why try to ruin George's life? It was a stupid, drunken mistake. I also had a sense of deja vu since meredith also slept with George.
As for Alex and Jane (a.k.a. Ava) Doe, I'm getting a little bored with that storyline and hope her husband/boyfriend or some other family come and find her. Alex is too hung up on Addison for anything to happen with Ms. Doe.
I'm also getting a little sick of the whole competition for Chief.
And lastly, Meredith - while being the namesake of the show, she is my least favorite character. The whole drowning, coming back to life thing was ridiculous. And she's so whiney all the time.

I think chief will be either Sloane or Bailey.
Izzie and George yuk! Getting drunk off your a r s e because of an argument is no exuse to cheat. They were both pretty darn plastered. How did she remember and not him? LAME! I really want him and Callie to make it. Not sure how long he's going to be able to keep the Izzie incident to himself. I think that's why he's supposed to be on the spinoff with Addison. Space and distance from Izzie on a daily basis would be the best thing for him.
I like Alex and Jane Doe (Ava). I think once her face heals and they put out flyers to find out who she is it's going to get interesting. I have a feeling she might be a surrogate and not actually involved with anyone.
I'm pretty bored with Meredith and McDreamy. I didn't want them to get together anyway. If they break up, I won't be upset.
I'm curious to see where Marc and Addison are going. They are a pretty damn hot looking couple. He looked super steamy in that suit and tie for his meeting.
Burke and Yang's relationship has always been heightened drama and then ok in the end from day one. That's not going to change and I'm ok with it. I like them together.

I can't stand Izzy so I hope she and George don't end up together. I think Ava Doe and Alex will fall in love and either she will remember who she is or someone will find her. He'll end up getting "consoled" by Addison which will irritate McSteamy.
I can't even understand what Dr. McDreamy sees in whiny Meredith to begin with. For being the title character, the show could certainly survive without her in my opinion.

izzie and george so need to end up together. i never like callie with george. she is way too moody and way too insecure. i think that the two of them hae been in love with each other, because they are always looking out for each other. its just a matter of time. i don't think that they will make izzie pregant neither of them are ready for that. meredith is kinda of getting on my nerves, and she better not screw things up with derek. but who is really getting on my nerves is christina. either you marry him or you don't. stop being so selfish. at first i felt for her because thats who she is but its getting a little old. sloan doesn't derserve to be chief the only one who does is bailey. alex will probably end up with that jane doe chick. the writers aren't going to go any further with the alex and addy story, because addy is geting her own show. so will see what happens. greys forever!

well she can't be chief yet because she is still a resident. I thought last night was good...disappointed with Izzie for sleeping with George, I can't see them together. Loved Sloanes "right now" plan for the hospital!! Bailey reacting to that was so funny! Loves Greys Anatomy!!

I don't think that Meredith is taking back seat....yea,,it is her show by her namesake...but this show is about her and the interns and where they are interning....their life and so forth as they are interning at this hospital. This is what makes this show so great....
I am a bit shocked by Izzie and George....but knew something was between them besides friendship and her need to mother him. I think Alex is finally showing his human side by helping and befriending this woman...

I like the part of Izzie & George & the thing about Eva (Jane Doe) I wish her husband/boyfriend would show up or she would remember who she is.

Meredith's character is getting weird, if she doesn't come to, she's gonna lose McDreamy
