Murder of Woolmer proves beyond doubt that the cricket mafia has deep roots among the crickters.
Many matches are lost by teams to a very week team "like India lost to Bangladesh" raises doubt that the match was fixed and Indian players (money loving rats) delebrately lost the match and they have direct link with mafia.
Many times before also Indian players like Azharuddin (Former Indian Captain), Jadeja were involved in match fixing.
So its not a new phenomenon.

india lost miserabely to Sri Lanka. My theory has been proved. Indian team is a bunch of bas**rds. Woolmer was about to tell name of bookies among crickters and he hinted that they may be pakistanies as well as Indians.
May be both Indian and Pakistani players killed him cold blooded.

About the conspiracy theory behind match-fixing as well as the latest cruel event when it was revealed that Bob Woolmer may have been murdered in his room, I think there may be some truths which are yet to surface. This is complete guess work and there is no hard-proof available about your allegation that Indian teams were ‘bribed’ to play badly against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Why don’t you give credit to the tough fighting Sri Lankan as well as Bangladeshi team members who earned their berth in Super Eight by the dint of their performance alone?

I have already answered a similar question and repeating the same as the result is already known by now. Please ask the SatMax's Mandira Bedi, Charu Sharma and Guest-panelist Ayaz Memon who did the post mortem of match between Bangladesh vs. India, Sri Lanka vs. India, as well as Bangladesh vs. Bermuda. They would be more than willing to 'expose' such fishy deal or any hint of foul-play as their body languages were showing that they were very upset with Bangladesh going to Super-8, while India is not.

I think that Indian players would learn to respect their opponents and let us find some civility in this gentlemen's game where lot of foul playing and such mean talks of match-fixing are floating around. Indian teams are great so are the Pakistani and Sri Lankan teams. We look forward to a series of interesting matches among these neighboring countries of South Asia and forget about match-fixing scapegoat (person blamed for others' shortcomings) terms.

Here is latest from AFP: Bangladesh in Super Eights:

Bangladesh made history when they qualified for the ICC Cricket World Cup second round with a seven-wicket victory over debutants Bermuda on Sunday and eliminated India in the process.

It was Bangladesh's best-ever performance in the tournament since making their Cup debut in England in 1999. They failed to go beyond the first round in England and then again in the next edition in 2003 in South Africa.

Bangladesh's second win in the four-team Group B also knocked former champions India out of the tournament. Sri Lanka has already advanced to the Super Eights with an all-win record.

India had already finished their group campaign with one win and two defeats and their slim hopes rested on an unlikely Bermudian win. The Cup debutants lost of their three matches.

I don't think so. It was just a bad day for Indian cricket team and they lost to a weaker side. We should not forget that Bangladesh has also defeated Australia last year and they are slowly learning to win. As far as the cricket mafia is concerned you are right. They have deep roots and one can not over rule their involvement in the ongoing world cup and the murder of Bob Woolmer. I believe that ICC should go a step further to curb this bane.
