please help i got a xbox 360 and um i cant get xbox live working it says ip adress failed and more info say that your gateway did not respond to a network request

You need to have your 360 hooked up to your network either with a cable or wireless. Make sure your wireless network is on so you can pick it up that way.

You can call Xbox 360 support at 1-800-4-MYXBOX and they will walk you through getting everything setup.

You need a router, or unplug the cable from the computer and plug it into the xbox.
Restart your computer with xbox plugged in. If that doesn't work then back track by resetting your modem and router (unplug them and wait 3 min). Restart both again.
