Got to be the Fulvia.

I'd go for the Alfa Romeo GTA since it's a lot sportier than the Lancia Fulvia, with its compact size and 112 horsepower engine. (unless you opt for the newest Fulvia, with a 1.3 Litre engine, which could be had for 114 horsepower stock or 132 horsepower mildly tuned). Also, at least in my opinion, the Alfa Romeo looks a little better. The Lancia's roofline is just too high and the car doesn't have as much character to it (it looks like a simple, low-cost economy car).

If you're considering cars of this era, consider these few similar models:

BMW 2002 - Looks halfway between the Alfa Romeo and the Lancia, plus there's a true performance model, the 2002TI, with 170 horsepower, lowered suspension, and a turbocharger.

Chevrolet Nova - Great looks, fairly reliable for this time, good gas mileage (with 4-Cylinder and small 6-Cylinders) and handling. Many, many engines to choose from (1 I-4, 4 I-6s, and 4 V-8s), with a true performance version, the Nova SS, with 255+ horsepower.

Ford Maverick - Similar to Chevrolet Nova, and also with performance version, the Maverick Grabber, with 210 horsepower. Could also get Mercury versions, called Comet and Comet GT.

I hope this has answered your question. If you have any more, please feel free to ask.
