I had a feeling this was going to be the question..
Yes I know some one with an eating disorder. My friend suffers bulimia and obsessive exercise bulimia, and Im trying to help her because not only do I know someone with one, but Im in recovery as well.
Eating disorders are not something to take as a joke. They are a very serious problems that are definetly not self induced. Mine was seen as an "addiction" to over exersise and then I began to restrict.
I lost 30 pounds in 3 months and got admitted into the hospital at 73 pounds (Im 5'3), at near death. I recovered at a surprising speed but Im still a couple pounds away from my goal weight but Im getting there.
Im proud to share my story as a strong survivor.

A school friend of mine was bulimic, she died aged 18 years old as a result. I would never want an eating disorder, seeing her ill was enough to make me realise that life is too important. Her hair fell out, she grew downy hair like fur all over her face and body, her teeth rotted and broke, bad breath, constant lethargy, she had no quality of life, everything she did revolved around food and throwing up, it was honestly the most hoffific and soul destroying thing i have ever witnessed and i only wish she would of come through the other side. A beautiful girl was lost because of a terrible illness that i personally believe is caused by society.

No I don't know anyone with an eating disorder. I don't have an eating disorder and I don't want one. I am roughly on the seafood diet. I see food and I eat it.

Yes. I was bulimic, handled it myself. And why would anyone want ANY kind of disorder. Disorder means it isn't working right.
