Perhaps I can help.

See that funny black thing that you've just typed this message into? That's called a computer.

Type into this funny black thing "Yahoo" or "Google" and hit enter. This will take you to a very handy thing called a search engine.

Cut and paste into the box some of the words from your question - hit enter - and see what happens.

This is called research, or helping yourself rather than getting someone else to do your work for you.

C'mon Dual M.........if you're smart enough to be on here, surely you're smart enough to use a search engine ? My answer is not meant to be smart-****, I just get fed up with people making no effort whatsoever to help themselves........learning is not about asking others to do the work for you.

Here's some links for the first few questions - this took me all of around 4 seconds each. Its really not that difficult.

The site above will help you with 2, 4,11.

5. The Gateway Arch is in St Louis, on the Mississippi River.
12.The Liberty Bell is in Philadelphia

I don't mean to sound like a smart*ss, but seriously, if you just do a google search for the monument/statue you're looking for, you should be able to find most of these answers online.

2 - Jefferson Memorial ... a memorial to a rapist (yes, it's true, check it out ...)
3 - Statue of Liberty (but was it really a social condemnation of slavery? she's standing on chains)
4 - Lincoln, Washington and Jefferson, although there is a very small one to FD Roosevelt, who said he didn't want one
5 - Try St. Louis
6 - Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. (orginially it was Robt. E. Lee's plantation. The US Gov't had to compensate him after the Civil War for the land)
8 - Tallest in height is the Washington Monument; however, tallest in elevation is the tower atop the Washington Nat'l Cathedral (it's located on a hill)
9 - Washington DC near the Vietnam Memorial
10 - the raising of the American Flag on Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima during the World War II battle
11 - The Vietnam Memorial, located near the Lincoln Memorial, it's sunken, and has inscribed on it's marbel surface the name of every person who was killed in Vietnam
12 - Philadelphia (an no Daniel Boone did not patch up the crack, nor was it cracked from ringing it ... it had a flaw in it)
