I think an existing one only because nowadays around here the newer the house the smaller it is and of course more expensive. I'd like to get the most house for my money. I mean how do you squeeze 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths plus a den into a 1300 sg. foot house?? Older homes seem to be bigger and have bigger yards too!

Well I live in an 14 old existing house right now, and its not fun fixing and replacing everything. So brand new house is better.

if i won the lotto i would just fix this house up
this is my dream log cabin and i would not change it for the world
new houses are made crappy and cost way to much for the trouble

I think an existing one. New houses often aren't made very well.
