this might sound like a stupid question, but...
does anyone know how to stop eyeshadow falling on your eyelashes? because even when you put mascara on, when you look down it still shows on your eyelashes. it's very difficult to blacken the parts with the mascara wand/cotton wool bud, because it smudges, and i will end up spending ages on this problem. any help?

thanks.

Tap the eyeshadow brush first, so there is not an excess of power falling onto the lashes. It's easier to build color than take away. Clean off your lashes first with a clean brush or q-tip, then apply your mascara to the upper side of the eyelashes and then to the lower. The eyeshadow powder can actually help thicken the eyelashes.

I am not sure about these things but here goes--
If your war paint is actually falling off onto your lashes, wouldn't that mean that it has dried out some how?
Maybe a different brand or type would be better.
I don't know how heavy you put it on, I hope you aren't another Tammy Faye Bakker type. My thought is if it's coming off, it might either be drying out, or is too much.
As far as the other stuff you put on your lashes, again, prhaps a different type, or wand as you call it.
Hope I helped anyway.

I had the same problem. Apply the eyeshadow more carefully and slowly, it won't go into your eyes then or fall onto your eyelashes

i actually moisten the applicator sponge when I put on my eyeshadow... I find it makes the shadow last longer, and I've never had a problem w/ shadow falling all over my lashes (unless it's an extremely glittery shadow).

The shadow is probably crumbling and falling down when you apply it. Go slowly and don't get too much on the applicator.

When I first put shadow on the brush/applicator, I blow a bit of the excess, so it doesn't fall in my eyes.

1. put eye shadow (and pat it lightly with your finger
2. put mascara
( if you eyeshadow is over a year old throw it away ....it is old girl.....why keep old makeup?????)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~and try to go with a more expensive differrent brand if it is doing that........like MAX factor= luv it
or Almay =great loks natural if that's what you are going for
Maybelline= last long get 12hr. eyeshdow...looks like you just applied eyeshadow for 12hrs.
First, put in shadow, then, put on mascara. Mascara's black, it shouldn't show, and if your problems with it running, then don't wear so much shadow
