yeah the internet, because I live on the otherside of the world from the majority of my family (that I actually know) and friends, and it costs a fortune to ring Australia from England....

Housing with working plumbing, appliances, heat and air conditioning. In short; Home. The Internet was secondary to the phone line communications.Now even these are being blended together and the simple phone with phone lines becoming antiquated. I would hate to think that I couldn't contact anyone in an emergency because my Internet service was interrupted by bad weather.

I would say that I can do without any of these - I don't want to, but if I had to, I could and so could you. Let's see, I'd choose my hair dryer - I definitely could care less about the computer, cell phones, even house phones, but my music is vital & my hair dryer..but if we had to - we wouldn't NEED any of it. but a great question.
