i'm aware of the difference between the two types of pizzas in these places. I just want to hear from people familiar with either/both cities to answer on specific places. Thanks

Cafe Rafaela has some great pizza in Manhattan. There are several locations in Manhattan, but the one I like the best is in Chlesea. Little Italy has lots of great pizza places, too.

I have never been to Chicago so I couldn't tell you about that.

2 different cities, 2 different styles of pizza.

New York has a thin pizza, while Chicago prefers the deep dish kind.

There are Pizza shops on EVERY block in NYC and I can say that 90% of them make great pizza. Take a stroll in Little Italy downtown and stop in ANY Pizza Place..... you can't go wrong.....

Never been to Chicago so can't help you there.....

We go to Stanton Island every other year or so to work with a church we helped plant there...there is a shopping center behind the Stanton Island Hotel that has a Bruno's and several other shops, including this small family-owned pizza place with the most awesome pizza ever pulled out of the oven! (Sorry, can't remember name of it!) I do believe that is my son's biggest reason for going with us! :-)
