go to all your meetings tell your director you what help use lots of gift baskets, get lots of name , call, call, call, talk to people on the street, give lots of samples out. talk to every one about Mary Kay. it is working for me you have to work nothing is free in life but you do not work hard.

There's really no way around it - the best tip to selling Mary Kay is "See the People."
- Talk to everyone you know.
- Offer to host a make-up party, a home spa party, even a children's dress up party.
talk about the quality of Mary Kay products, how they don't harm the skin, anti-aging effects, youthful properties, etc.
- Get yourself business cards, imprinted pens, pencils, mugs, or other kinds of giveaways to promote your business, because that's what it is a business. Give these to everybody.

- Offer to teach a class at the library or chamber of commerce on skin care or the harmful effects of UV rays with spring & summer right around the corner.
Do these things and more and you shouldn't have a problem selling Mary Kay.

My advice would be not to sell Mary Kay. I tried selling Avon and Mary Kay, in my area. I tried everything I could think of.
I left books and brochures at local doctors offices and at dentists offices. I left books at Vet office waiting rooms.
I left books in my church foyer. I left them at daycare.
I gave them out at work. I had my husband give them out at his work. I went door to door in my neighborhoo, leaving them.
I rented a space for a booth at the mall. I rented space for a booth at a local craft fair.
I had business cards made and handed them out. I even paid extra for an internet web site thing through Mary Kay.
I made absolutely no money. In fact, I lost a lot, so I gave it up.
Most people I talked to said that they wanted to buy the stuff but they simply could not afford to do so, especially with the price of gas now.

Just be your self do parties to booths at malls with your dircetor hang out with your Mary Kay girlfriend's and find customers and have fun all my best to you Good Luck
