We use the word 'hanged' in English when we speak of hanging as a punishment for a crime. Meat is hung, to mature the flavour. Hung is the usual past tense of 'to hang', 'hanged' is only for the punishment.
Hope that helps,

I think you will find the correct past tense of the verb to hang is hung. I don't think hanged is a valid word to be used in the past tense. It would be more correct to say it in a future tense i.e.he will be hanged at 12 noon tomorrow.

Hanged. All three.
However, modern colloquialisms have pretty much made "hanged" obsolete. So, you can go with "hung" and be fine.
