Many years ago there were UFO sightings in my country. We went to the place and, when I saw the lights, I completely lost my self control and started waving and jumping, yelling hello, here I am, welcome!
So I guess yes.
I never knew for sure what those light were (that's what UFO means, right?). Maybe if they had answered I'd died of a heart attack, but I remember the moment with a smile.

Sure! They could visit me during the daytime. Maybe a friendship treaty for both sides, negotiators, and translators would all be handy too. And If it happened, I'd hope that it meant that they were going to keep open contact with Earth from now on. (...but then, it depends on their intentions. I wouldn't mind Vulcan-like-beings but there's some aliens from movies that are kind of freaky. Like War of the Worlds. lol)
But seriously, what is with all these movies making alien introductions at NIGHT? Shesh. I bet even Aliens could appreciate that humans feel vulnerable at night and feel more comfortable during daylight.

the real question should be. is the human species really ready for interaction with a much superior being. I'm sure if aliens are out there they will get into contact with us when they think we are ready. me personally I'd just talk to the stars

Actually,
I was in devon, the english westcountry, walking down a hill, when over flew a space ship, they flew all the way down the road, stopped at the bottom of the hill, and beamed themselves down into a black transit van and drove off.
I couldn't catch them up, but I was going to ask them for a cream tea!

Usually I just yell over. My alien friends come over quite often. They're really nice people but they have a very difficult accent.
