Most of the responses I see to those questions are from white people stating that the question sounded racist. It depends on the person responding to the question. The matter regarding racism is a very sensitive issue because if you think about it, thirty years ago racism was very prevalent. Thirty years is not a very long time. The young generation will not have to endure what a person that is now in his/her 50s, 60s, etc, had to go through at that time. Check out the responses to your question, if racism isn't still an issue, I've been fooled!!!!!!!!

it's not just questions but if I state that blacks sound different than whites I am considered a racist. these facts that people point out is obvious to everyone else, yet, blacks can't accept the differences because they consider it a racist observation.
it is a victim mentality that these people have to accuse everyone of being racist. the black race is, how do I put it, screwed up mentally.
another thing is that blacks don't have much to be proud of so all the generalizations about them are negative, and i'm sure they don't want to hear any more of it so they yell racism.

Because whites aren't supposed to say anything about blacks. It's not allowed; however, black comedians can make all the jokes about "Whitey" that they want. Racism is an excuse that the races use to get what they want, these days. I don't have to word my question the way they want to hear it. I'm an American, I'll say whatever the hell I want, thank you. Here's a question I'd like the answer to: How come blacks are the race that cause the most crime in this country, and yet THEY have the b***s to say THEY are the ones victimized here? They CAUSE victimization.

There is a lot of racism directed toward Blacks and they know it. If you look at the media, opinions, and even questions you would understand why Blacks think in terms of racism.
Maybe if the population would focus on the more positive aspect of Black culture they could start making a continual recover from oppression in this country. It is still within one generation that witnessed white oppression first handed. Building a cultural identity will take many generation to fully recover from this type of destruction. While that White culture of today did not enslave a Black themselves at least take the time to realize the obstacles Blacks have to over come in their history. I know about the problems in society and all that but this country is still at cause haven taken little action to really atone for its mistakes.
I just shake my head when people post statistics about the Black culture as if they came here equal like most other cultures. All I have to say before attacking the Black race do some research to understand before you causes more resentment in your questions.
Let face it most people that post about the Black culture is trying to make a raciest point.

Blacks aren't the ones on here asking stupid *** questions. Let a black person post a dumbass racist question like the ones I've seen on here lately and see how the white community reacts. Get a life.

I don't think these askers mean to make it sound racist... it's just the point of the question and simply how they word it. Disect the question and read it in a way so it doesn't sound racist. I think they mean well.

Yeah, I never see any embargo on questions about Strumpfs because they are not a visible minority....
More seriously, there are taboo matters on yahoo ; even if you don't nag, some kind of automatic control is delaying publication of questions containing certain keywords (for example life in African countries such as Morrocco)

first of all have you read some of the questions that people have been asking about black people.i mean some of it is just plain ignorant and just plain racist and i guess that puts alot of black people on defense. maybe you need to word your question better and not make it sound like you are making a racist question.

Maybe it's how you worded your question. When I ask a question about a different race I always say "I don't mean to sound racist that's not my intention....."
not once was I branded a racist =)
