I hate getting razor burn when I shave my legs but it happens every time. I use a good moisturizing shaving cream and a good razor but it doesn't help. I don't have sensitive skin, so I'm clueless as to why it keeps happening. Any suggestions as to how to avoid this ?

If you soak them good first then it makes the hair soften up some and therefore easier to remove...Try that first.

You may have to use an electric razor if all else fails.

I fully agree with Josie...110%! I have this same exact problem! I do not have sensitive skin anywhere on my body. However, when I shave it's a totally different story. It was not until I went to "toy" party with some girl friends of mine and found this amazing cream called Coochie Cream! It doesn't come off as easily as soap or regular shaving cream when it gets spashed while you are in the middle of shaving in the shower. It smells great, and it leaves your legs silky smooth! What's even better...if you use a nice sugar or salt body scrub on your legs first...then apply the Coochie Cream and shave...you'll have the best legs in town after getting out of the shower and patting them dry (don't forget a little extra moisturizing cream to keep them look fantastic for hours and hours)! If you don't have a local adult shop nearby...go to your search engine and type in "Coochie Cream", you'll find it for sale all over the place! Good luck with the legs!

I have the same issue. i cant use veet or nair because of my sensitive skin. The best thing 2 do is get a good shaving cream and the new Venus breeze it has a protective gel layer to stop razor burn and irritation.

Shave straight after a shower or bath as the pores of your skin open with the heat, making it easier to shave. After you have shaved, use cold water to wash with and then put on moisuriser. It stops a shave burn on a bloke's face, so should work on your legs.

Try shaving while using warm water, keep your legs wet and save the shaving for the last thing u do because the warm water will get the hairs up better. Also try putting on a lotion or baby oil or even this baby oil lotion after u shave. It helps me out

I used to have the same problem. Go to your local sex shop and get a shaving cream called Coochie Cream. It sounds gross, I know, but it guarantees against razor burns. You can also use it as a conditioner. Weird, I know, but it's seriously a miracle.
