Saturday. For the reasons you mentioned but also because everything is open, and usually open later. On Sunday everything closes at 5 or6 and you loose alot of the night.

I think my favorite would be Wednesday cuz its Hump day once u've survived wednesday's lunch u know ur halfway to the weekend. just knowing that gives me that extra push to finish the week.
but a close second is Saturday: saturday is the day to spend recovering from friday and the work week, but u know u still have another day to sleep in so u dont feel too bad if u wasted it

Everyday! but for all different reasons........
mondays......kids back at school (haha)
tuesdays......meet up with family after work
wednesdays.......half way through the week
thursdays............shopping after work!
fridays..........wine and curry night
saturday.......well because its a saturday!
sunday.........chill out and reflect on the last week!
