its the way our civilization has evolved. if you really get out there and talk to people, you'll find out that there are some men that think its not cool to sleep around. not to mention, some women just want attention and thats solely the purpose they do it.

first of all, maximum women like and % niceness. Any female who would not, would not comprehend what genuine love is nor get exhilaration from a good element. you're extra ideal off with out this female. It sounds like she in basic terms used you from the beginning up. definite, some females will ruin up with a guy if he's no longer good at intercourse. yet....if the female somewhat loves the guy, she would be in a position to coach and tell him what she likes and how she likes it. communication is a widespread area of a relationship and fairly while it involves intercourse. This female chosen to leave you rather than artwork on the relationship; which says plenty approximately her. Relationships take artwork to final.

Old school sexism. Women always know their children are theirs. Men, without a blood test, can't be sure. In a patriarchal society, the best way for the men to ensure that they're raising their own kids is to keep the women from having sex with anyone but their husbands. We're still stuck with the remnants of that. Women who have sex with different men are still whores because that was a huge threat not so long ago.

It really has nothing to do with evolution. A woman who has sex with lots of men is, first off, making sure that she's getting at least some fertile sperm. Secondly, if there are lots of men who think that her kid might be theirs, too, she might be able to get them to provide for them. Ten guys hunting for you is a lot better than one. There are, in fact, tribes that work this way.

Now this is garbage. Men controlling women's rights? In a previous topic where a man asked why women can wear dresses and men can't, the reply was that they could although it was frowned upon by society. There was no mention of oppression. Why, then, is it mentioned here?

Perhaps because it relates to women instead of men?

In any event, the reason for the above is because it is a double standard based upon preconceptions of morality by the majority. From an evolutionary perspective, women aren't exactly supposed to whore themselves off as they have to care for children while one man can impregnate thousands.

It may factor in and it may not. The truth is somewhat difficult to divine.

Guys think that it's cool becuase they aren't getting any...hense they admire a guy who does. A woman who gets around is deemed a slut(or whatever your favorite "slam" may be) but she is probably hearing this from the same guys that are talking up the guy. It's a classic double standard.

Oh, honey... are you really asking this question?

I'm saddened by the lack of feminist consciousness in young women today. :(

Our society has extremely old-fashioned ideas of female sexuality. Our bodies have traditionally been property - first of our fathers, then of our husbands. To be penetrated by another man is to be tainted and dirty. Though this is actually anti-male, because it works under the assumption that men are dirty, it still works in practice against females. I also have a theory that, because religion teaches sex is wrong, men secretly feel ashamed of their sexuality, which is why things such as Madonna/Wh*re complexes exist.

Calling a woman a sl*t, wh*re, etc, puts them on a sub-human level. It demonizes them. On the other hand, part of our definition of "masculinity" is to conquer women, so men are encouraged to do so. Please note that female sexual pleasure is completely unimportant in this regard - the conquering of women is only about penetration and is very penis-based. Since men's "masculine" identity is partially based upon their sexual "conquests," they are expected to sleep around. It's a sick little game we play, and it's wrong.

You will also get a lot of answers claiming that men are biologically inclined to have sex with a lot of women. This theory is under the umbrella of socio-biology, which has largely been disputed and has never been proven.

CHUCK: I am aware that we have no immediate recollection of things that happened in the past. But attitudes and prevailing ideas don't just go away because women now vote and can be financially independent. We can't shed 3000 years of ideas being passed on generation to generation - it becomes second nature to us. We take it for granted and consider it truth. And I am not blaming everything on men - I'm perfectly aware that women say these things too - but women, like men, have been influenced by these ideas and "norms."

Because a macho-man is bluntly programmed by nature to have sex with all available women, or at least to have sex every day, and for the rest of his life, if he is really healthy.

According to nature a woman may have sex once a year (mating, nine months pregnancy, three months "rest", and then sex again).

If a woman has sex at other times more frequently than this, and with more partners, then it is sort of fake and deplorable sex - according to nature, according to hygiene, and so also according to morals.

Men might bluntly like to boast about their sexual performances and that is also according to nature because they are lay-outed for frequent sexual performance - if they are physically healthy.

There are still cultures where men formally may get more than one wife, even many wives, and so also father a lot of off-spring, and in the wild nature male beasts fight fiercely against each other so that the strongest male may impregnate most females while the less strong males may hardly get any off-spring of their own. In old times in the Islamic? world some men were castrated and so used as guards onto the harem of a powerful man's wives.

So you see, it may be a matter of blunt nature when guys think it's cool to have sex with a lot of women while a woman is expected to be ... guarded, and so be faithful to only one man.

That has been studied for the longest. Where have you been ? The latest : It's all in the genes and chromosones.Throughout history Chieftains and Kings sought sons -not daughters- to build strong clans which made way for bigger and bigger families which in turn needed more and more land (and sons to defend it) which gave way for the admission (in courts for example) to the King's concubines or lady-in-waiting which in turn will bring hopefully more sons and therefore expand the chiefdom or kingdom, whichever you like best.
Like i said earlier this is nothing new, but it implies -to me at least- that you HAVEN"T DONE your home work, lol
Also, i must confess that in my case, for example it was all about the greatness of the female body since i have no chiefdom nor kingdom. Like me, millions of men will, if they choose truth over a big fat lie, undoubtely concurr with my premise of 'Gotta love 'em' :-) and yes, the more the merrier ! ...which in kind makes me a total pig ? lol

It's a double standard.

Now the "sexual liberation" bit says women should lower themselves to that standard, when actually guys should raise their standards--in other words, wait until marriage and don't cheat.

Personally I have little if any respect for "players" or anyone else that sleeps around--male or female.

It has nothing to do with all this past history of women being property. People in the west have little to no recollection of this because it happened so long ago and they only read it in history books.

If you haven't noticed it is usually women calling other women names, not men. But feminists again prove they can blame everything on men.
